The Perception Analyzer system is composed of four main software modules:
Hardware Set-Up
The Edit module
The Collect module
The Report module
The Hardware Set-Up module makes set-up for a focus group, meeting or class as simple as one (start PC and console), two (set out the dials), three (connect to projection device for question display). The Set-Up Utility Wizard shows the user in step-by-step photos how to connect the PC, console, dials, and participant displays, and includes an automatic hardware diagnostic test.

New for Model IV:
Set dials to display only numbers included in custom scale (i.e. 1-7)
Set dials to display current battery or signal strength
Automatically test dial battery and signal strength before session
Check dial battery and signal strength from the computer during a session
