Perception Analyzer Software Changes Version 7.1 Now Available

This version features the
following highlights:
Support for the new model IV wireless system:
Improved wireless reception with internal antenna.
Improved battery life with drop-in battery loading.
Checks battery voltage and signal strength of dials on start-up and in Dial
Status.
Displays exact range of response choices coded (e.g. 1-4, 1-5, etc.)
“Yes/No” and A-F display mode.
New dials remember operating frequency when powered down.
Enhanced digital media functionality:
Improved playback of digital media files in sync with moment-to-moment data
collection and review (scroll-bar, jog with arrow keys).
Start moment-to-moment data collection at any point within a digital media
file.
Moment-to-moment data collection and viewing enhancements:
Improvements to annotation feature allow marking points of interest in moment-to-moment
graph when playing back digital video in Collect and Report. Printed annotation
report including captions, mean scores, and video thumbnails of timepoints on
printouts when linked to digital video files. Annotations can be edited from
Report.
Countdown Timer on participant display. Prompt
participants to respond in a timely manner.
Display Properties may now be changed from
Edit and Collect.
Other important changes since version 7.0:
When there is no corresponding PowerPoint slide, the regular PA respondent
screen is used for participant display.
Improvements to PA checking PowerPoint slides to determine if they are questions.
Slide import function now allows slides without questions to be imported as questions.
Added disconnect function for PowerPoint slideshows.
“Select Application Module for Script” (Add Group) dialog renamed
as “Insert Group or Summary”. Calculated Group option added to list
and removed from right-click menu.
Report will now display subsets for Moment-to-Moment custom summaries.
Added ability to make digital video MtM graphs of questions that do not have
an associated video.
Cumulative means now recalculate when cueing data/video with slider-bar,
arrow keys or Goto functions.
Wired-only system: Hibernate on close. Backlighting dialog removed from start-up
sequence for faster start-up. Dial reset function added to Fix-it.
